1. My post-camp sleep in was delicious and much-needed.
2. Our son has never shown a great interest in helping dad with outdoor chores, apart from on the odd occasion. This has started to change slowly and today he proudly prepared 12 wheelbarrow loads of pit sand for the swimming pool hole. And not a word mentioned about monetary reward!
3. I'm ga ga over strawberries. We also have the juiciest pineapples available at good prices. Apricots are just on the scene as well. Melt in my mouth, juice runneth over, summer fruit. I love to savour the flavour.
