1. I went on a kindergarten trip to our college marae and adored the kapa haka group's singing. There's something emotional and uplifting about a group of teenagers bonding together through the songs of their forbears. Made me wish I was Maori.
2. Finally got to do the Monday shopping today. Whizzed round and avoided biscuits and potato chips successfully. Trying to wean the children off potato chips and bought biscuits in favour of homemade or, even better, fruit. So far, it's working well. No complaints or questions.
3. Have I ever mentioned how much I love sleep? I would swap it for chocolate any day. Sleep is a gift from God. It's my favourite "s" word!
