1. I'm busy with lots of writing opportunities at the moment and scrabbling to find time to work on them. Another 12 hours in the day would be extremely well received. I am envying those people who get by on 4 hours sleep a night.
2. The Rugby World Cup has begun with a good win to Argentina. Our family is staying up late tonight to support our very own All Blacks against Italy. Go Dougie!
3. We have been at a squash tournament in a town about 45 minutes away today. We also went there last night. Our son had three games. He lost the first two and won the final game. It had its challenging moments from the point of view of anxious mother but I enjoyed it. Three tournaments to go...

I think 1/2 of nz are going to be tired for the next 6 weeks. It was interesting watching a game in bright sunlight.

I don't often enter a definition on Word Imperfect, but I read it almost religeously! ;-) It's the sort of game my family would have played if we'd thought of it!
I have to say, I always thought you were American, and I am thrilled to finally discover you are a kiwi! Awesome!
Pity about the ABs loss to France, I think there are a lot of people out there unhappy with the ref!

I've always wished I could get by on only a few hours of sleep. I'm at the opposite extreme and need about 9 hours regularly to feel really rested. Good grief!
